Nicola Moll, LAc MSTOM

I grew up in Germany where my grandpa was an herbalist. He took me on many walks in the forest and explained which plants treat what kind of conditions. Studying psychology in my undergraduate work only reinforced my desire to connect with people and to facilitate their healing. When I stumbled upon the arts of Oriental Medicine it struck a chord: a medicine that combines natural remedies and the body’s own energy (qi) to treat mind, body and spirit! After graduating in the top percentile of my class at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, I went to China.

At the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine I saw first hand how people with debilitating diseases benefitted from acupuncture and herbs. My mission became to make this medicine part of every person’s life, one patient at a time.

What I enjoy most in my practice is the relationship with my patients. It is within a space of comfort and understanding that healing can occur. I specialize in women’s health, including pregnancy and postpartum care, mental/emotional health and pain management. However, I welcome everyone who walks through my door and support each person wherever they are in their life. I use an intuitive approach and a gentle style of acupuncture, often incorporating Chinese herbology and
tui na massage.
